Changes to how you bid for properties and apply to join our housing register

In April we are going to start using a new online system to advertise our available properties and our housing register. The new system works in a similar way to HomeHunt.

If you have a HomeHunt account

We will transfer your account and housing register application to the new system. This includes your details, registration date and application details, but not the history of properties you have bid for.

From mid-March, you will be unable to edit your account or housing application.

In early April, you will be able to access the new system and update your account and application.

If you do not have a HomeHunt account

From mid-March, you will be unable to create an account and apply to join the housing register.

In early April, you will be able to access the new system and create your account and apply to join the housing register.

We will continue to handle exceptional circumstances outside of HomeHunt like we do now.

Advertising available properties

We will continue to advertise available properties on HomeHunt every week until mid-April. If you are interested in a property, you can bid for it on HomeHunt.

We will manage those bids on HomeHunt until the property is let.

From mid-April, we will advertise available properties on the new system.

Further information

There will be more information available during March, including specific dates when we will be transferring your accounts and information.

We will have help and support guides for the new system too.
