Bleeding a radiator transcript
Full transcript of the 'bleeding a radiator' video.
If you have noticed your radiator is cold at the top and hot at bottom they may need bleeding.
In order to do this, make sure that the boiler is turned off and you have a bleed key.
If you haven't got a bleed key, you can get them from any DIY shop.
To bleed the radiator, put the key in the valve, turn anticlockwise until you start hearing air come out.
When you start to feel water, turn the key clockwise to shut the valve off. The radiator is now full.
You may need to go down to the boiler and top up the boiler pressure.
