Building safety national panel, local group, and drop-in information sessions

National Residents’ Panel

The Health and Safety Executive is the Building Safety Regulator for all high-rise buildings in England. They are required by the Building Safety Act 2022 to create a Residents’ Panel.

The panel will be about 20 people who live in high-rise buildings in different locations and situations, including social housing, private rent and leaseholders.

Panel members represent residents and will use their real-life views and experiences to give advice, input and feedback to the Building Safety Regulator.

If you are interested in joining the panel, you can apply before 18 November 2022.

Local Building Safety Tenant and Community Voice Group

Gentoo has already created our own group for tenants and residents to share their views and experiences of living in our high-rise buildings.

If you are interested in getting involved, contact Stacey Thwaites, Building Safety (Tenant Communication). You can call 07801 532 594 or email buildingsafety@
