We are changing our telephone system to make it easier for you to call us. From Friday 30 September, our local offices will no longer have individual phone numbers. The number you can call us on for all enquiries is 0191 525 5000.
If you try to call any of our local office numbers that do not end in 5000, you will hear a message telling you to call 0191 525 5000 where we will help you in any way we can.
When you call 0191 525 5000, you have the option to select:
- 1 to pay your rent or other charges
- 2 for anything to do with repairs
- 3 to speak to someone about finding a new home or your current application
- 4 for all other housing queries
- 5 to speak to someone about anything else
Our phonelines are open 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. After midday on Fridays, option 3 and 4 will be unavailable. Between midday and 5pm, the options will be:
- 1 to pay your rent or other charges
- 2 for anything to do with repairs
- 3 to speak to someone about anything else
You can still visit your local office.
