Our new 2-bedroom Shared Ownership show home at Eskdene Rise, located on Ennerdale Street in Hetton-le-Hole, Sunderland (DH5 0EH) is now open.

The development, which is being built by Adderstone Living, forms part of our wider scheme delivering 86 new homes, including houses, bungalows and apartments available for Affordable Rent, Shared Ownership and Rent to Buy.

The show home reflects our commitment to sustainable, high-quality housing. Each property includes air source heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, smart meters, full fill cavity wall insulation and electric vehicle charging points. Homes are designed with spacious interiors, increased ceiling heights, larger windows and generous gardens.

The impressive show home demonstrates how customers can make the most of the space and design offered by our affordable house types, showcasing practical layouts, natural light and modern finishes that support comfortable and efficient living.

Deposits for a 25% share of a 2-bedroom home start at just £2,200, making homeownership more accessible for first-time buyers and those looking to re-enter the property market.

Ali Johnson, Assistant Director of Development, said: “Eskdene Rise is a fantastic example of how we’re delivering high-quality, energy-efficient homes that meet the needs of local people. The Shared Ownership model offers a more accessible route to homeownership, and we’re excited to welcome customers to explore what this development has to offer.”

Stephen McCoy,  Director of Adderstone Living, the social housing division of Adderstone Group, added: “After all the hard work it was great to see the finished show home and join in the opening ceremony. It is the culmination of lots of effort from both organisations and we are proud to have played our part.”

Viewings of the show home are by appointment only and can be arranged through our sales and marketing team.
