Gentoo Group, housing association and creator of web-based case management system Streetwise, is teaming up with Housing Partners to deliver an all-encompassing software solution to enable safer communities.
Streetwise is an effective Case Management System that helps protect communities and improve lives. Designed in-house, this hosted solution has two modules. An anti-social behaviour (ASB) module that supports those on the front-line to manage ASB and pin-point where support is most needed. The Domestic Abuse module support supports staff when dealing with cases of domestic abuse. Both provide a controlled way to record incidents, actions and interventions and the measures taken to tackle ASB, support victims and deal with perpetrators. Streetwise currently has more than 15 clients including the Wheatley Group, Poplar Harca and North Tyneside Council.
For nearly a decade Housing Partners has provided award-winning software solutions to housing providers. Insight, the company’s segmentation, trending and analysis product, provides customers with a unique set of tools to help identify risks, anticipate customer needs and intervene early; targeting information, support and advice to the right people at the right time. Insight’s development has been driven by the sector in response to the challenges and opportunities of welfare reform.
Their Insight product helps provide timely, personalised support to residents while enabling clients to protect their income and manage risk. It does this by taking data from multiple silos – CRM systems, Housing Management Systems and spreadsheets together with external intelligence. It is built on secure, market-leading technology, and is accessible from any device with an internet connection.
This partnership will enable the integration of Streetwise into Insight where it can be analysed and reported alongside existing data to build a single, rich picture of customers and their current situation. It will provide a more comprehensive, holistic view of the customer’s circumstances, so the most appropriate person-centred support and interventions are put in place.
Michelle Meldrum, Managing Director, Gentoo Operations said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with Housing Partners to further enhance their Insight product. Customers will now have access to data which will enable those on the front-line to make faster and more informed decisions about how to make our communities safer. Streetwise is the only commercially-available Case Management System that has been developed in-house by a housing association for others within the sector. We are proud to work with another organisation that puts customers and communities at the heart of everything they do.”
Simon Hollingsworth Managing Director, Housing Partners said: “Social housing provides homes to some of society's most vulnerable people and helping landlords to meet their obligation to these tenants is central to our ethos. Working with Gentoo on this partnership further cements our commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for both landlords and their customers.”
