Over ther year's we've had some amazing acts and the talent has been phenomenal. Here's a round up fo the winners:

12-year-old Riona Sorianosos was crowned the Genfactor 2019 winner after blowing judges away with her powerful performance of Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing. The St Anthony's pupil describes herself as shy but also sporty and energetic, which is perfect as she swims for Sunderland Association Swimming Club.

Bio
Tahnee is 14 years of age and attends Farringdon Academy, where she is in year 10.
This is Tahnee’s second year in the competition. She did really well last year and placed in 3rd position overall, which she states has been her best experience to date.
Tahnee also won a ‘highly commended award for Performing Arts’ at the Sunderland Young Achievers awards ceremony earlier this year.
She is at her happiest when surrounded by family and friends and can’t wait for the final to make them proud.

A group of talented individuals who met whilst performing previously in Genfactor, and have come together to create an impressive band. They write their own music as well as covering popular songs.

12-year-old Mia Carney, a pupil from Farringdon Academy, was crowned the 2015 winner after she impressed the judges and wowed the crowds with her stage presence and confidence during her vocal performance of Black Heart by Stooshe.

Arron Hough a pupil from Sandhill View Academy scooped first prize at Gentoo’s talent competition in 2014 for his incredible dance performance.
