Penshaw Gardens is our new housing development in the Penshaw area of Sunderland for people over the age of 55.
About the development
The development built in partnership with Vistry Partnerships North East will have 72 new apartments over three storeys. The properties are a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments with shared communal gardens.
All of the properties will be available for affordable rent.
The homes at Penshaw Gardens will include:
- air source heat pumps
- electric heating
- mechanical ventilation and heat recovery
- shared internal storage areas for mobility scooters
- communal lounge
The development is currently under construction, with the first properties available towards the end of 2024.
