We’ve made an important change to how we advertise our available homes.
Instead of releasing properties at a set time each week, we will now advertise homes as soon as they are ready, Monday to Friday.
Before making this change, we shared it with our Customer Committee, who were supportive of the new approach.
What this means for you
- You’ll see homes advertised more regularly across the week
- You won’t need to wait for a single release day
- You’ll have more flexibility to look for homes at a time that suits you
Advertising homes when they’re ready
We will still only advertise homes once they are ready to let.
This means:
- You won’t see homes listed too early
- We can reduce empty time between lets
- Homes can be offered and moved into as quickly as possible

How long homes will stay online
Homes will still be advertised for one week, giving you plenty of time to apply.
If you usually check for homes at 2pm on a Wednesday, that’s absolutely fine. You can keep doing this. The change just gives you more flexibility to check at other times too.
How we shortlist applications
We know timing can feel important when applying, but we want to reassure you:
- You are not disadvantaged if you don’t apply straight away
- Applying earlier does not give you priority
- Homes are offered based on housing need and how well the property matches your situation, not how quickly you apply
This means everyone has a fair chance, no matter when they apply during the week.

- Give customers more flexibility
