Last year, we shared with you our plans for reviewing our office locations to provide a better and easily accessible service for our customers.
As part of our office review, we put our Houghton office up for sale last summer. We can confirm an offer has been accepted for our Skyline office and is due to close by the end of February.
We understand how important it is for our customers to visit us in person and we are committed to remaining present in our neighbourhoods.
Looking ahead, we’re exploring options for a new customer hub on the high street in Houghton, as we have committed to retaining a presence in Houghton. In the meantime, customers are welcome to visit us at one of our other offices.

Further updates on our office review include:
- We’ve recently completed refurbishing our new office at the Bunny Hill centre and are looking forward to welcoming customers when we open early next month.
- We’re all set to begin refurbishment work in the former Connexions building at the Galleries in Washington. Following customer feedback, we’re planning to open a Washington office which offers a more accessible location in the Galleries. Refurbishment work is due to begin soon, and we will share future updates when the office is ready to open.
