We're delighted to welcome customers to our new office at the Bunny Hill centre. Opening today, we've created a welcoming, local space for residents to drop in and talk to our teams about anything from their tenancy to wellbeing and money support.
Located in the heart of our communities in North Sunderland, the Bunny Hill office will be home to colleagues from our housing teams, making it easier for customers to visit and get face-to-face support.
The new office brings Gentoo closer to key partners in the city, sharing the building with Sunderland City Council and Together for Children, strengthening partnerships and creating a hub of support for local residents.
The office has been designed and refurbished alongside our contractors, T Manners, with both comfort and sustainability in mind. Energy efficient features, including air source heat pumps, help reduce carbon emissions and improve efficiency, reflecting our commitment to a greener future.

The opening of the Bunny Hill Centre is part of a wider office review we began last year to provide modern, easy to access branches for customers and create better working environments for colleagues. Valuable feedback from both colleagues and customers has been gathered throughout the review, resulting in the opening of a new, modern office at Bunny Hill.
From today, the office will be open for customers to drop in Monday, Tuesday 9am - 4pm, Wednesday, Thursday 9am - 2pm. The office will be open for pre- arranged appointments only on Friday mornings.

Our office is located on the ground floor of the Bunny Hill Centre.
Please be aware our office is located at the Bunny Hill Centre on Hylton Lane, which is a different building from the Bunny Hill Primary Care Centre, which a 2 minute walk up the lane.
How to get here
There is free parking on site and the centre is easy to access from a number of local bus routes. A bus stop is located just outside of the centre on Hylton Lane road. The next steps in our wider office review is to start work on our new office in the former Connexions building at the Galleries in Washington. Refurbishment work is due to begin soon with updates on opening to follow later in the year.
