The group were awarded £500 buy enough wool and materials to continue to meet every Wednesday for the rest of the year.
Pins and Needles Knitting Group has been awarded £500 through our Community Grant programme (formerly Aspire Grant programme).
The donation means the group now has enough wool and materials to continue to meet every Wednesday for the rest of the year.
The knitting club meet at CHANCE Community Centre in Hendon and create a variety of different items including children’s cardigans, hats, blankets, toys, decorations and accessories. These items are then sold at local craft fairs, with the money being donated back into the club or to various charities.
