Apply for a Community Grant

What you need to know and how to apply for a Community Grant.

What you need to know before applying

  • If you’ve applied for a Community Grant previously (formerly known as Aspire) you must have returned a completed evaluation form alongside all receipts as proof of purchase. Failure to do so, will result in you being unable to apply for a community grant.
  • A group can be awarded up to £1000 in a financial year. For example, if your project only requires you to apply for £500 and this is awarded. You can apply for a further grant of £500 after providing all receipts and a project report at the end of the first grant (in that financial year which runs from the 1st April to 31st March).
  • Once a group has been awarded £1000 in that financial year you will not be able to apply again until the next financial year, and all receipts and a report has been provided.
  • It’s important you read the Community Grant Guidance for further information.
