RE:GEN Group, a North East-based social housing specialist, has been appointed to help deliver 294 high-quality homes, including a mix of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom houses, 2-bedroom bungalows, and apartments.
Most homes will be available for social rent, with additional options through shared ownership, ensuring a range of housing choices for local residents.
Each property will be built to high standards of sustainability and energy efficiency, featuring:
- Air source heat pumps
- Smart meters
- Solar panels
- Full-fill cavity wall insulation
- Electric vehicle charging points
These features are designed to reduce carbon emissions and help lower household energy costs, making sustainable living more accessible.
