Experienced IT Director joins the organisation

We have welcomed Paul Brockbanks to the Group as our new IT Director. Paul will provide the strategic direction, leadership, and operational best practices for the Group’s Information Technology teams.

Paul joins the organisation with 20 years of technology leadership experience within the financial services, legal and not-for-profit sectors.

Prior to joining Gentoo, Paul worked for organisations including Norton Rose Fulbright, Metfriendly, Nedbank and Standard Chartered Bank.

Speaking about the role, he said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Gentoo whilst we look to reshape our ways of working, whilst leveraging new technologies across the Group.

“I’ve inherited a team with many collective years of experience in the housing sector and look forward to working closely with them and our partners on our modernisation journey.”

As part of the new role, Paul will also be supporting our newly created Business Improvement and Change function and will work closely with colleagues to introduce a new Salesforce CRM system.

Stephen Flounders, Executive Director of Regulatory and Business Services, said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul to Gentoo. Paul brings a wealth of IT experience to the Group from a range of sectors and this experience will be significant for us to deliver on our corporate strategy.”
