You’re invited to meet the Housing Ombudsman at Gentoo

As a Gentoo customer, you are invited to an event to meet the Housing Ombudsman, Richard Blakeway to hear about the work they do and the services they provide. The event will be taking place on Tuesday 27 February, from 1-2pm at Gentoo’s head office, Emperor House on Doxford International Business Park.  

Due to the high demand, the in person event is now sold out but customers have the opportunity to still attend the event online.

Booking is essential and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.  

The Housing Ombudsman is a free, independent, and impartial service that investigates complaints and resolves disputes on behalf of social housing tenants.  

The types of complaints the Housing Ombudsman can deal with include: 

  • Disrepair 
  • Anti-social behaviour 
  • Complaint handling 
  • Damp and mould 
  • Adaptations 
  • Charges 
  • Other housing management issues 

At the event, you will have the chance to ask questions on all aspects of the Housing Ombudsman Service. Please note questions relating to specific, individual cases cannot be answered at this event.
