Can you grow the tallest sunflower?

Calling all keen gardeners, get growing in our Sunflower Competition for all ages!

Enter our competition and you could win a prize! 

The rules are simple:

• Request a pack, which includes sunflower seeds and a Sunflower Diary. You can do this by contacting your Neighbourhood Coordinator 
• Plant your seed and put it somewhere bright and sunny. Water whenever it feels dry
• After a few weeks you should see your plant starting to poke through. At this point you can measure it's progress - time to start filling out your Sunflower Diary! 
• When your plant starts getting too big for its small pot, plant it in a bigger pot or in a sunny spot in your garden
• Watch it grow! When you measure your sunflower you should measure from the base of the stem to the top of the stem

By Friday 6 September 2024, submit your final height and photos online or by sending them to your Neighbourhood Coordinator.

The winner will be contacted in September.
