Scrutinises the services we provide to tenants and customers.
Gives an independent view of how we perform against our business targets and values.
Highlights what we do well and what we need to improve on.
Reports back to Group Board on recommendations to implement change
Why does it exist?
The social housing green paper (published in August 2018) aimed to rebalance the relationship between tenants and landlords and place a prominence on tenant engagement.
Gentoo is also an early adopter of the National Housing Federation's 'Together for Tenants initiative' which looks to strengthen the relationship between housing associations and their tenants and residents.
The Ustoo Scrutiny Group is just one of the ways Gentoo looks to engage with tenants and allow them to whole Gentoo to account for the delivery of its services and how it runs the business.
