New housing development

A new housing development will be built on the site at the former Conishead Centre in Silksworth that was vacated in Summer 2020. 13 two and three bedroom houses will be created on the site and all of these homes will be available for affordable rent.

The development, located south of Silksworth Health Centre, will provide high quality new homes for local people. The first new homes will be made available in spring 2022.

Current status

We successfully obtained planning permission for this development in November 2020 and hope to start building in spring 2021.

HomeHunt

New homes that are to be made available for affordable rent and built as part of our affordable homes plan, will be advertised and allocated using Gentoo’s existing allocations service via Home Hunt.
