Our commitment to building new affordable homes

At Gentoo, we believe everyone has the right to live in a good quality home they can afford. This is why we’re committed to investing millions of pounds in new rented homes every year.

Through our affordable homes plan, we’re playing our part to address the UK housing shortage locally, by delivering more than 900 new affordable homes to rent in Sunderland by 2024.

We’ve created a range of new house type designs, with a clear design philosophy, to deliver modern, contemporary and spacious new homes that meet the needs of local people. They’ve been designed with a range of features that aim to maximise quality of life and comfort, creating a visual brand and marking a new era for affordable rented homes in Sunderland.

We’ll deliver hundreds of new homes and create neighbourhoods that tenants and residents are proud to be a part of.
