Concierge Assistant
About the role of Concierge Assistant
This is a relief post and will require flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, part time, working 29.75 hours per week. Gentoo have a state-of-the-art control centre that provides services to customers 24/7 - all year round. The role involves monitoring CCTV, controlling access to multi storey and sheltered scheme developments, handling emergency out of hours call requests from customers along with emergency repairs. The role also includes responding to fire alarm activation in multi tenanted blocks and liaising with the emergency services. The successful person will need to be flexible, work a varied shift pattern that will include weekend working. Hours will be discussed at interview stage.

About the role of Joiner
We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Property Maintenance Team in the role of a Joiner. Are you interested in a career with an organisation committed to making a difference to customers, tenants, and communities? Reporting into the Repairs Managers and/or Void Supervisors you will be responsible for not only undertaking all joinery repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high standard but also for the delivery of excellent customer service. Providing an excellent customer service is paramount in this role, therefore you will need to be a people person with the ability to communicate and liaise effectively with a wide range of teams and colleagues within Gentoo, external stakeholders and have an ability to build and maintain honest and open relationships.
Multi Maintenance Operative
About the role of Multi Maintenance Operative
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Property team in the role of Multi Maintenance Operative working within a team of Repairs operatives. Working to deliver the best quality customer service whilst carrying out responsive and planned repairs to our tenant properties. The role will involve carrying out general building maintenance duties including joinery, plastering, tiling, decorating, bricklaying, plumbing, fencing, flooring and roofing. The role may also include, tending to our customers fencing requirements, fitting vinyl flooring to wet shower rooms and kitchens, applying damp proofing products to walls, and the installation of loft insulation. You will have access to a company vehicle and the relevant tools and equipment required to carry out your role, working in both void and tenanted properties across our housing stock. We are looking for flexible individuals to join our teams, working a 36 hour week providing an excellent work life balance and a generous benefits package.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Property Maintenance in the role of Plasterer. All jobs you undertake will have a 'Right first time' attitude and you will be expected to deliver work to a high standard. The role will involve carrying out all plastering works including ceramic tiling, rendering, preservation and artex works. Monday - Wednesday (18 Hours) This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Contact Centre team as our Tenant Support Assistant. You’ll be delivering exceptional customer service to our tenants arranging repairs and general enquiries Typical day as a Tenant Support Assistant • You’ll act as the first point of contact for customers contacting the Group • Help our customer’ enquiries in an efficient, courteous, and friendly manner • You’ll support our customers with repairs and servicing for their properties. Helping prioritise their repairs and re-scheduling service appointments • You’ll also update customer account records accurately in relevant systems • Undertake other administrative tasks for other business areas and outbound service calls to Tenants with updates on their repairs • Committed to taking ownership of queries and resolving at the first point of contact, liaising with repair managers and planners • As part of the onboarding you will need to complete a DBS Check.
