About the role of Admin Support Assistant

We are currently recruiting an Admin Support Assistant to join our Property Investment team to work within the Asbestos Management function on a fixed term basis, until February 2025. Key responsibilities will include the following, a full job description is available to view at www.gentoogroup.com/careers: - Deal with day-to-day queries through management of email and telephone enquiries from both internal and external customers. - Administration duties to support the department as required including (but not limited to); arrangement of meetings, raising orders, recording and inputting data, post, archiving, filing, updating/retrieval of records. - Populating contractor key performance indicators prior to contractor meetings. - Updating of the asbestos module of the asset management database as required, using CSV data supplied by a third party. - Managing and updating spreadsheets, assisting the Group Asbestos Manager with areas of finance. - Preparation of documents using Microsoft Word. - Arrangement and management of appointments for asbestos surveys when required. - Collate and prepare Tenant Information Sheets to send out to customers.

The role will require you to carry out routine inspections and checks on essential safety systems and associated ancillary equipment, keeping Gentoo Group compliant for fire and electrical safety.
