Our fire safety responsibilities
The safety of our tenants is hugely important. We make sure that there are appropriate fire safety measures in place In our blocks of flats and similar properties. We also regularly review any fire risks and the procedures for preventing and reporting fires.
We strive to continually improve and be a best-practice organisation in fire safety to ensure we deliver our vision of great homes, strong communities and inspired people. We are committed to meeting all our legal responsibilities.
Fire risk assessments (FRA)
Managing fire safety in all our buildings is a key focus.
We own 27 buildings that are six storeys or above, and we class those as “taller buildings”. We carry out FRAs in our taller buildings each year, or sooner if there have been any major changes.
We also carry out regular fire risk assessments in all our other blocks of flats, sheltered schemes and extra care properties.
