Gentoo is responsible for delivering core housing management services and maintenance to approximately 70,000 customers in 30,000 homes across Sunderland and the surrounding areas. Tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) and supporting victims is high on our agenda and we are committed to ensuring our communities are safe places to live.

Designed and developed in-house by Gentoo specialists, Streetwise is a fully functioning web-based application which allows Gentoo neighbourhood teams and our clients to monitor ASB and other tenancy breaches effectively.

Commercially available, Streetwise provides a controlled way to record actions and measures taken to combat ASB and support victims.Streetwise enables users to manage their neighbourhood safety caseload effectively and the ability to make faster and more informed decisions about how to target resources to make communities safer.

We have used our in-house expertise to develop a product that is fit for purpose with the capacity to react to an ever-changing and expanding agenda.
