Involved and engaged customers and communities are at the heart of Gentoo’s Vision - Great Homes, Strong Communities, Inspired People.  They are essential for the delivery of strong communities and for the provision of services that meet customer expectations. 

We have lots of ways for our customers to get involved. Whether it’s community volunteering, helping us to improve our services or working with others to make local area improvements, there is something for everyone.

We will:

  • Ensure we provide a range of accessible ways for you to be involved and to engage with us and we will keep you informed about these opportunities on our website and through other media
  • Use our Local Living Newsletter and Customer Annual Report to tell you how we have performed as well as any changes and improvements we have made as a result of your feedback
  • Provide an involvement framework that supports customer-led self-regulation and customer scrutiny
  • Develop local area plans to identify gaps and priorities in the local areas to engage a board range of customers reflecting our community profile
  • Improve the information we hold about you to deliver tailored services relevant to your needs
  • Review our approach to Involvement and engagement with customers to ensure it remains fit for purpose as a minimum every 2 years
