Genfactor applications now open

If you are in full-time education (year group 7-11) and live in Sunderland this could be your chance to shine.

The ‘Genfactor’ is our very own talent competition that gives young people within the local community a chance to showcase their talents. The competition - now in its fifth year is looking for the next big star.

Last year over 100 acts and over 200 young people from across Sunderland auditioned for a place at bootcamp and a total of 46 acts battled it out to secure a place in the final. 16 acts made it through to the final with Drama student, Lauren Waine being crowned the 2012 ‘Genfactor’ winner.
